Harvest Day & Old Sturbridge Village                 October 16, 2010                     www.publickhouse.com

Sturbridge, Mass                                                    Cost: $25.00                            www.osv.org

Spend the day visiting some of Sturbridge's greatest fall treasures.

Each year the Publick House in Sturbridge hosts a Harvest Festival which includes a Scarecrow contest and pumpkin decoration contest. Many local businesses, families and organizations (including the Center) have submitted a scene for the public’s judging. Help pick the category winners by casting your vote before heading to the Sturbridge Common to check out the craft fair.

Old Sturbridge Village is preparing their harvest for the winter months and you can help. Dig potatoes in the field, pull carrots in the garden, thresh rye or shell corn in the barn. Experience the beauty that is Old Sturbridge Village in the fall. We will be having lunch at the Bullard Tavern.
