Meet the Staff
Program Administrator - Monique Chapdelaine
The Program Administrator is responsible for the operation and quality services provided by Pioneer Valley Day Habilitation staff. The Program Administrator maintains compliance of all Massachusetts and Connecticut over-site regulators including DMR, DMA, DPH, DMH and DDD. The Program Administrator is available to all program members, staff, family members, service coordinators and other interested parties to assure the development of individual services for program members. Regular trainings provide communication with staff regarding the specific needs of individuals. PVDH follows the agency mission statement by providing an environment that encourages individual choice regarding skills opportunities, community involvement and daily activities designed to enhance independence.
Program Director - Melissa Palmer
The Program Director is responsible for the day to day operations of the program including skills trainings, scheduled appointments and transportation. The Program Director arranges staff and program member schedules and programming while also adjusting skills trainings schedules to meet Individual Service Plan needs and the personal interests of the program members. This individual is responsible for developing curriculum that correlates to the program member objectives. The Program Director will step in for the Program Administrator in their absence.
Program Registered Nurse - Kerry Blanchard
The Program RN works as part of a team to assist program members in maintaining optimal health and well being, to achieve goals and function at their highest potential. The nurse provides medical documentation, interdisciplinary review and medication distribution to program members.
Senior Developmental Specialists - Laura McTigue
It is the job of the Senior Developmental Specialists to oversees all program members paperwork in relation to objectives, monthly reports, quarterly analysis and case notes. Each program member receives goals based on the amount of time they attend. The Senior Developmental Specialist ensure that these goals are realistic, represent the program members interest and need and meet the regulation set forth by funding agencies.
