Special Olympic & Recreation Program

Special Olympic & Recreation Program

The Center of Hope Foundation, Inc. (CoHF) has expanded its Recreational Programs by adding additional unified Special Olympic teams and sport activities.  Unified sports mean persons with and without disabilities participate in the events together.  CoHF operates an active Special Olympics Program for adults and children in the Southern Worcester County area.  This has been accomplished through the dedicating work/volunteering of many at a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, and the continual generosity of our financial supporters-sponsors-donors.  We invite and encourage everyone to involve themselves in these events in any manner they are capable of.  Participation in these Fundraising events are vital to the success of providing those who wish to take part in such sports offered by our Recreational Program at no cost.

All partners and athletes must be committed to participating in all practices. Please click the following links for general information and year round program descriptions.

All Athletes must have a current Athlete Application on file. This must be signed by a physician and is valid for three years.  If the athlete has a physical competed for a day program, camp or residence, this can be attached to the application as long as there is a physician’s signature.  The application should be submitted prior to the start of participation in Special Olympics and every three years. Athletes without a completed application will not be allowed to go on to any of the games. Please email Ryan Chauvin to request an application.
