About Us

In February 2002, The Center of Hope Foundation created The Daily Grind, originally named Books & Beans.  It was established as one of the first coffee houses in Southbridge and won the Sturbridge Times 2013 readers choice award best local book store.  The Daily Grind was designed to utilize people with various disabilities in a learning/working atmosphere. Hands on training and flexible positions have been instrumental in fostering self-esteem, while allowing individuals to gain work experience with the goal to integrate into other community based jobs.
