Rebuild, strengthen our impact, and do more for the disability community.

Achieve Organizational Stability and Long-Term Growth

Our buildings are all structurally sound, but need renovation and modernization to increase our impact and capacity. Currently, in the state of Massachusetts, there are 7,000 individuals with disabilities who are not receiving services. What does this mean? Without services from providers like us, individuals with disabilities are forced to stay home. Funding from the Hope Grows Here Capital Campaign will allow us to increase and rejuvenate the spaces within our programs. In doing this we will create a more pleasing and safe environment, increasing capacity, and giving hope and opportunity to those individuals on our waiting list.

Enhance Safety & Security Throughout the Agency

Physical security and safety features provide reassurance to families that their loved ones are safe and secure. Serving a vulnerable population, it is more important than ever to enhance security within our buildings. Secure Access Control will allow for effective control of movement throughout our facilities. With proper parameters of who is allowed in and out and/or certain areas, we will be able to keep program members and staff safe by using camera systems, alarm systems, and continued security training for employees and program members.

Increase Community Engagement

Our mission is to improve the lives of the members we serve by providing quality services and providing opportunities so that EVERYONE can be contributing members of their communities and achieve the most fulfilling lives possible. The Hope Grows Here Capital Campaign will increase community engagement through new programs, initiatives, and fundraising events. This will raise awareness, create a more inclusive environment, and open new opportunities.

Our 5 Year Plan 2022-2027

Modernize Program Spaces
• Redesign space to optimize square footage allowing increased occupancy and creating an aesthetically pleasing environment, ensuring that the programs do not feel institutional in nature.• Improve accessibility by adding track systems for personal care. • Update computer labs with modern technology. • Install security and access control systems. • Upgrade HVAC, ventilation, and air quality systems. • Pave, improve lighting, and install camera systems to increase safety in parking lots.

Increase Residential Services
• Create new housing for individuals with I/DD and Autism Spectrum Disorders filling an unmet need in our local community.

Business Venture Innovation Fund
• Entrepreneurship and the development of participant businesses that have been a hallmark of the Center’s programming for decades. Expanding capital to allow us to invest in new ideas is a major factor in offering a broader range of training and employment opportunities for program members while offering products and services to the community.
