Minimum Expectations for Employment
All positions require a Pre-Employment Criminal Record Check, Registry of Motor Vehicle Check, Physical and Drug Test. All position require a valid drivers license.
It is expected that all Employees will exhibit the utmost respect for the dignity and pride of all Program Members.
To successfully obtain all necessary training as required. Training includes, but is not limited to: Defensive Driving, Orientation, Safety Plan & Evacuation, Human Rights, Ethics, CPR & First Aid, Intervention Skills Level I & II, HCSIS and DPPC.
To adhere to Safety, Human Rights, Confidentiality Requirements (HIPPA) and Agency Ethics while pursuing the Agency Mission Statement through all aspects of community and agency involvement.

Vocational Positions Available
All Vocational Positions require a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, completion of a pre-employment physical and drug test, CORI, SORI and Reference Check. All full time vocational positions offer full benefits.
Job Coaches
The Vocational Department is seeking a Job Coach to work with program members in a variety of paid and volunteer employment settings. Must be flexible, able to lift 50 pounds, be patient and present well in community settings. Job coaches must demonstrate positive work skills for program members and work collaboratively as part of the vocational team. Job Coaches must drive agency vehicles and may be required to use their own vehicles for transportation to job sites. All job coaches also drive van runs for the Transportation Department, therefore hours can range form 7-3 to 9-5.
Day Habilitation Program Openings- Southbridge Locations
All Day Program Positions require a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, completion of a pre-employment physical and drug test, CORI, SORI and Reference Check. All full time vocational positions offer full benefits. Experience in the Human Service Field is preferred.
Direct Care Staff
The Center of Hope is seeking to fill a variety of Direct Care positions in its four Southbridge Day Habilitation Programs. Duties include teaching a variety of skills trainings either one to one or in group settings, assisting program members with personal care, community integration and paperwork completion. High School Diploma or GED required. All Day Hab staff must be able to drive van runs as part of their job duties. Southbridge Day Habilitation, Quinebaug River Day Habilitation, West Street Day Habilitation and Center of Hope Day Habilitation all have positions available.
