“All Aboard The Arc!” is a statewide fundraising event, which is based on advocating, and celebrating the positive strides human service providers such as ourselves, have made through the years, for individuals with disabilities.  Each year the event is held at a different, central location where all of the Massachusetts Arc’s, participants, supporters, and sponsors are invited for a motivational day of celebration.

We are asking families to both participate in and fundraise for The Arc’s signature event “All Aboard The Arc!” on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  A celebration is being held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boston Common to applaud decades of Human and Civil Rights advancements for individuals with disabilities.  Motivational speakers and lively entertainment from Canadian singer/songwriter Justin Hines and Ash & Bloom will inspire all in attendance.

Justin’s music reflects the current generation’s desire to refuse to be divided by race, language and geographical barriers – Africa to America.  It is an incredible amalgamation of pop, country, folk and rock.  Check out Justin’s amazing story.  He was also featured on CBS Sunday morning (there is an ad before the video), and visit his website www.justinhines.com to learn more.

Join us in travelling to Boston from our send-off rally in front of Savers Bank in Southbridge from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Main & Central Street.  Motor coach transport is available to fundraisers.  We encourage each individual to set a personal fundraising goal; you can also support another individual to travel in your place.  We need everyone’s support to make this happen!

If you would like your own “All Aboard The Arc!” online fundraising page, please visit www.allaboardthearc.org.  This is a great way to receive donations and to track your fundraising efforts.  If you need assistance in setting up your fundraising webpage please contact us.  Below you will find additional information regarding registration and fundraising.  Donations are tax deductible.  Credit card, personal or business check donations should be filled out on a pledge sheet and either mailed to the Center of Hope Foundation, P.O. Box 66, Southbridge, MA 01550 or brought into programs.  Cash must be brought into programs in a sealed envelope, listing “AATA” and your name.  Please contact your Program Administrator or Marie Barse, Recruitment Manager, at (508) 764-4085 x640 and/or email mbarse@thecenterofhope.org  for more information.
