The Center of Hope Announces a Limited Number of Youth Positions Available in the Southern Worcester County

The program will provide employment opportunities to 38 youth ages 16-24, with a minimum of 30% of all participants being out of school youth. In school youth will be placed in 20 hour per week positions and out of school youth will be placed in 35 hours per week positions. All positions pay $8.00 per hour.

All of the youth served must meet the WIA eligibility requirements and must live in Southbridge, Sturbridge, Charlton, Oxford, Warren, Webster, Dudley and the Brookfields.

Southern Worcester County Arc., Inc has been serving people with disabilities for more than 50 years.  Since its humble beginnings in 1956 as a school for children with disabilities, the Center of Hope has grown to serving over 400 individuals.  With a large Employment Services Program, several Day Habilitation program and an active Children's Supports Program, the Center of Hope is able to provide a wide spectrum of supports to enhance the lives of the people it serves.
